Adaptive Modules were very pleased to be part for the Fireco DMS product launch.

Our GPRS / JAVA Modem was used to give Fireco the ability to send a Text message to an SMS server on the activation of a Digital input to the Modem. This would in turn send an SMS to our SMS Server partners, then an SMS would be broadcast to all registered members of the DMS service if the Fire alarm was activated.

Having the Motorola franchise, enables us to take our customer to the next level, in a way that Adaptive Modules now has its own GPRS/3G modems using the range of modules from Motorola for many Embedded / Boxed applications including full M2M Solutions.

Major benefits: integration into Java applications, no need for application microcontroller, extremely cost-efficient hardware and software design – ideal platform for industrial GSM / GPRS applications. The memory space available for Java programs is10.0 MB flash file system and 1.8 MB RAM. Application code and data share the space in the flash file system and in RAM.
