DirectPort UPCI supports 2/4/8 ports with the standard-profile/low-profile form factors
The DirectPort family of universal PCI multiport serial adapters provide flexible expansions of high performance serial ports to computers.
The PCI multiport serial cards are designed on the PCI Local Bus Spec 2.3. They can automatically set the I/O addresses and IRQ numbers on ROM bios or computer start-up.
The family support high speed serial speed of up to 921.6 Kbps and come with surge protection for maximum reliability. Stabilise the communication with internal 256 byte deep FIFO.
The DirectPort adapters provide a wide range of hardware combinations. Select different port counts among 2, 4 and 8 ports, interfaces such as RS232 and RS422/485, and standard or low profiles depending on specific hardware requirements. They operate in Windows 200/XP/Vista/7 and major Linux operating system to meet different software environments.
