The W24 WiFi module allows secure WiFi access to internet and data connections. It is designed for cost effective and secure broadband access for M2M.

The W24 WiFi module provides access to Wi-Fi connectivity for M2M projects that require both local and real-time (cellular) broadband connectivity for remote access. It utilises Motorola’s “24” form factor for easy and fast integration.

The module features security protocols with an additional security block between the host device application and the internet to securely transfer data to any access point, ideal for surveillance cameras.

The W24 is designed to ‘plug and play’ to existing field machines or devices. It offloads the internet communications task from the host application enabling internet connectivity.

W24 + G24 = WiFi cellular data routing

Gain broadband connectivity for local IP access and real-time access for remote data communication with the W24 and G24 stack. The dual modem (G24 GSM + W24 WiFI) enables data communication over WiFi and GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks.

The W24/G24 stack is a perfect solution for M2M applications requiring both communication types, like fleet management, security or AMR devices. W24/G24 allows multiple tasks; the W24 provides broadband Internet access for data collection and downloading, while the G24 can backhaul to monitor real-time.
